A message regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We are pleased to announce that the Rostrum Voice of Youth Public Speaking Competition is back in 2021, having been cancelled last year due to the COVID virus. Our primary aim is to protect the health, safety and well-being of all those involved in the competition as competitors, officials, teachers or supporters. Accordingly, please note that by entering your students in the Voice of Youth, you are agreeing to abide by the COVID-Safe protocols of the competition and of the individual schools hosting the heats. Further details (which may vary between venues) will be provided prior to each heat/ regional final.
2021 Rostrum NSW Voice of Youth Results
Thank you everyone who participated in this year's NSW Voice of Youth competition. The results were as follows:
Junior Division
- Winner – Catherine Park, SCEGGS Darlinghurst
- Runner up – Domenico Cocco, St Gregory’s College, Campbelltown
- 3rd place – Catherine Swemmer, Ravenswood
Senior Division
- Winner – Nicola Allen, SCEGGS Darlinghurst
- Runner up – Lucy Brownlie, St Andrews Cathedral School
- 3rd place – Preethika Mathan, Santa Sabina.
Both the winner and runner up in each Division are competing in the National Final in Adelaide on 31 July.
