The Australian Rostrum Council

Responsibilities and current ARC office bearers

The Australian Rostrum Council is the national executive of Australian Rostrum. The Council consists of the National President and the Presidents of the seven zones: New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory, Tasmania, The Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.

The responsibilities of the Australian Rostrum Council include:

  • provide a forum for the exchange of opinions and ideas related to the objectives of Rostrum
  • supervise the organisation of Rostrum events such as The Rostrum Voice of Youth at a national level
  • supply appropriate publications and training materials for clubs
  • promote the ideals and objectives of Rostrum

  • Dennis Walsh President, South Australia and Northern Territory
  • Dario Tomat President, Tasmania
  • Leigh Harkness President, The Australian Capital Territory
  • Neil Addison President, Victoria
  • Chris Stone President Western Australia
